Hi, I'm a qualified conservator of historical objects having completed my MA in Conservation of Historic Objects (Merit) and previously my First Class Honours in BA Conservation and Restoration, both from the University of Lincoln. Site News: March 2013
The last 6 months have been busy, completing volunteer placements and freelance work:

- Volunteering under the guidance of Conservator of Life Collections, Bethany Palumbo at the Oxford University Museum of Natural History in November 2013 and February 2014. Various tasks were undertaken including the treatment of display and handling natural history specimens, spot checking for pests in research collections, packing specimens for transport and freezing and also the process of preparing a mammalian specimen for skeletal articulation.
- Conservation treatments for copper alloy Roman coins and a iron arrowhead for Navenby Archaeology Group in conjunction with Bishop Grosseteste University. In the NAG diary for May 2014 I am to give an informal talk on conservation principles for their members. I hope to treat further objects the volunteers with NAG excavate.
