March 2013 - Volunteering under the guidance of
Conservator of Life Collections, Bethany Palumbo at the Oxford
University Museum of Natural History
in November 2013 and February 2014.
Various tasks were undertaken including the treatment of display and
handling natural history specimens, spot checking for pests in research
collections, packing specimens for transport and freezing and also the
process of preparing a mammalian specimen for skeletal articulation. |
